    Moorefield

The perfect entrance for the modern farmhouse.

We recently had the pleasure of working on a front entrance project with the Remuga family in Moorefield, ON. When they first approached us, they had a problem that needed to be corrected: their new home had a porch that went right onto grass, with no walkway from the driveway to the porch.

This may seem like a minor deal initially, but it posed a few problems for the Remuga family. The grass would often be wet in the spring and fall, making it easier to track mud into the house. In the winter, the lawn would be covered in snow, and there was no easy way to remove it from the front entrance. Lastly, there was no curb appeal to the front yard.

We designed and installed a front walkway with beautiful plantings to solve this problem. We used square-cut natural flagstone for the walkway, adding a natural and timeless look to the house's entrance. We also included landscape lighting to highlight the specimen plants at night, adding a touch of elegance and drama to the front of the house.

The result was a stunning transformation that the Remuga family loved. They can now easily access their front door, even in wet or snowy conditions, and they have a beautiful outdoor space to enjoy year-round.

We were so thrilled to be able to help the Remuga family solve their problem and create a functional and attractive front entrance.

If you have a similar issue at home, please don't hesitate to call us. We'd be happy to help you create the front entrance of your dreams!
